Can I book just one suite, or does it have to be the whole house?
Mas de Louise is not rented by the room. Full private hire is the only formula: you get the entire house — all 8 suites, 3 living rooms, the semi-professional kitchen, the terrace and the heated pool — exclusively for your group.
What are the rates at Mas de Louise?
Rates vary by season: from €860 per night in low season (November to March, outside school holidays), €990 in mid-season (April-June, September-October) and €1,090 in high season (July-August, Christmas and Easter holidays). The rate covers the entire house.
What is the minimum length of stay?
The minimum stay is 2 nights, regardless of the season.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival. Between 60 and 30 days, 50% of the amount is refunded. Less than 30 days before arrival, no refund is possible, except in cases of force majeure.
How do I book and pay for my stay?
Booking is done online via the secure Lodgify platform, with real-time availability and pricing. A 50% deposit is required at booking, with the balance due 30 days before arrival. A security deposit cheque is also requested on arrival, returned at the end of the stay if no damage is found.
How many people can Mas de Louise accommodate?
The house has 8 private suites for a total of 15 people, across 430 sqm of living space.
Is Mas de Louise accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
Yes. A ground-floor suite has been specially fitted for wheelchair access: no thresholds, a wide walk-in shower and widened circulation space.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome upon prior request, subject to Louise's approval. A supplement may apply depending on size and length of stay.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, a private 12-space car park is available on the estate at no extra cost, with secure 24-hour access. Electric vehicle charging points will be installed soon.
Where exactly is Mas de Louise located?
The house is located at 2270 Route de Darbres, 07170 Lussas, in the South Ardèche, with a view of the medieval Mirabel tower. GPS coordinates: 44.626960, 4.488545.
Is a private chef available during the stay?
Yes. A partner chef can take over the kitchen for a gourmet evening, with a menu designed around your preferences and seasonal produce. This service is booked on request, with a bespoke quote.
Can I request a stocked fridge before arrival?
Yes. Simply send your shopping list at least 5 days before arrival. Louise prepares it with the products you request, substituted with local Ardèche equivalents whenever a local producer does it better.
Does the house offer wellness activities like yoga or massages?
Yes. A partner coach can lead a yoga, pilates or fitness class on site, and a partner practitioner offers massages and treatments in-suite, on the terrace or in the gardens.
Can I organise a seminar or a retreat at the house?
Yes. The house can be privately hired for corporate seminars and wellness retreats (yoga, meditation) for groups of 6 to 16 people, with full accommodation and on-site catering.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, high-speed fibre Wi-Fi is available throughout all suites and common areas, with no data limit, included in every stay.
How do I get to Mas de Louise from Paris, Lyon or Marseille?
By car via the A7, Montélimar Sud exit then the N102 (Paris 5h, Lyon 2h, Marseille 2h30). By train, Montélimar TGV station is 35 minutes from the house. By plane, Lyon, Marseille or Nîmes airports serve the area. A private transfer from the station or airport can be arranged on request.
Can I give a stay at Mas de Louise as a gift?
Yes, with the Mas de Louise gift card: a letter handwritten by Louise, sealed with wax and sent by post, to give to someone who matters.
